Stonehill President and CEO Selected for the Rays 100
Tampa, FL (April 4, 2018) - Stonehill announced today that its President and CEO, Doug Pace, was selected for the Rays 100. The Rays 100 is a collection of 100 Tampa Bay business leaders who are backing the effort to build a new baseball stadium in Ybor City and move the Tampa Bay Rays to the city of Tampa.
The Rays 100 will participate in a variety of promotional efforts to secure community support of the team’s relocation. This includes spreading the message to their circles of influence, advocating to elected officials, engaging in organizational communications and obtaining financial backing from the region’s largest corporations with pledges to purchase season tickets and corporate boxes. The Rays move to Ybor City is projected to increase attendance and revenue, ultimately making the team more competitive than in previous years.
“Building a new stadium in Tampa will be good for the team and great for the community” said Doug Pace, President and CEO of Stonehill. “I am honored to be associated with these innovative and dedicated community leaders.”
