Stonehill CEO to Present at Ignite Tampa Bay
(June 6, 2018) - Stonehill announced today that its CEO, Doug Pace, will be speaking at Ignite Tampa Bay. The event will be held on June 13, 2018, at 6:30 pm at The Palladium in St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Pace’s talk is entitled “Stroke of Genius” and will walk the audience through his personal story of having a stroke at age 42 – 2 days after selling his first company. He will reflect on what it is like to have a stroke, the challenges that he had to overcome, the effect the event had on his personal values, and how he harnessed motivation to start an innovation consulting firm that has already been recognized with multiple awards.
Ignite is an internationally syndicated presentation series with a unique twist: 20 speakers fire off 20 slides in just 5 minutes each, for a night of inspiration-filled, rapid-fire talks. The Ignite concept first appeared in Seattle in 2006 and has since spread to many cities across the globe. Talks cover a wide range of (often geeky) topics, from roller skating to nuclear reactors.
